Position Overview
The Senior Sales Manager drives revenue growth by leading all sales initiatives and setting the strategic direction for market expansion across the beer, wine, beverage, and gaming sectors. This role also oversees company marketing strategy and the Marketing Specialist to ensure that venue promotions, content, and campaigns align with brand standards and directly support sales objectives. The Senior Sales Manager will dedicate approximately 20% of their time to in-office leadership and planning, with 80% actively spent in the field cultivating client relationships, securing new business, and strengthening market presence.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute new site acquisition and renewal strategies across defined verticals; create territory and account plans by state and region.
- Establish quarterly performance targets (site activations, revenue, win rate, churn) and lead weekly pipeline reviews and forecast calls.
- Collaborate with the COO to align install timelines and service-level agreements.
- Build cross-promotional programs with beverage, petroleum, and hospitality partners to increase venue traffic and machine utilization.
Marketing Oversight
- Provide oversight to the Marketing Specialist and ensure all promotions, content, and events align with sales goals.
- Approve and maintain a rolling 12-month marketing calendar, including venue promotions, tournaments, and brand standard alignment.
- Enforce Salesforce best practices: full activity logging, accurate stages, close dates, and deal values, while maintaining forecasting accuracy within ±10%.
- Manage dashboards to track pipeline health, win/loss performance, site activation cycle time, and vertical-specific metrics.
- Standardize proposals, renewal playbooks, and vertical-specific talk tracks, ensuring alignment with marketing enablement resources.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in a team leadership role.
- Experience in vending, product placement, or multi-site retail environments.
- Proven success securing multi-site and multi-vertical deals (C-stores, bars/restaurants, truck stops, family entertainment centers).
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, including pipeline management, forecasting, and executive-level reporting.
