ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Payments Specialist to join our growing Operations team. This individual will work as a liaison between Zeal's customers and banking partners and institutions to solve complex payments-related queries.

This role is great for those who want to work at a fun and collaborative start-up where new ideas are praised and autonomy and proactiveness are rewarded. This role will be based in office in San Francisco or remote with full benefits and is a great opportunity to grow in your career as we are rapidly scaling operations.

SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON

• Provide subject matter expertise to support payments-related inquiries for our partners such as ACH, RTP payment rails wires, etc
• Communicate with risk department at banks to troubleshoot for our users
• Build and maintain user-facing and internal payments knowledge center articles
• Work closely with our customers to ensure all payments issues are solved in a timely fashion
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and compliance teams as well as stakeholders on payments related concepts and topics

YOU HAVE

• You work CST hours
• Have 4+ years of experience providing user support in the banking or payroll industry
• Experience with ACH, RTP payment rails wires
• Exceptional attention to detail and have worked at or with various financial institutions
• Strong interpersonal skills and have a passion for providing the best support experience
• Strategic problem-solver, you can work independently but also know when to ask for help
• Operationally minded, you can manage multiple projects at one time and is familiar with project management tools such as JIRA as well as customer support software (any): Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.
