About the role:
You will be joining one of the fastest growing sales teams in the FreightTech space. You will be contributing towards addressing a key critical constraint upon which Silq’s aggressive growth plans are built on. As a Sales Development Representative, you will pursue leads via traditional and non-traditional sales methods to secure meetings with prospects to be handed off to Account Executives. In this role, you will directly contribute to our mission of building the largest sustainable global shipping network with a 40% Gross Margin by leveraging people, data, & technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Build:
- Build relationships and establish credibility through remote and in-person meetings with prospects
- Build a pipeline of leads that yield in 8 Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) per month
- Build a culture rooted in delivering “customer love”, you win when they win!
Execute:
- Diligently meet/exceed weekly sales activity goals across phone, email and social media
- Systematically capture customer interactions accurately to forecast opportunity status in our CRM
- Identifying innovative ways to demonstrate the value of the Silq offerings effectively
Partner:
- Partner with Account Executives to advance deals in the pipeline
- Strategize with team members to innovate; improve the overall sales development process

Compensation:
Base pay $60000
Commission $40000
