Although this is a solved problem for passenger assets, cargo vehicle tracking is still in its nascent stages.Automating document digitization - Our mission involves revolutionizing an archaic industry which involves a lot of physical documents which require considerable operational effort to digitize.Scaling up our collaboration systems - comments, direct messaging and notification systemsRobust payment infrastructure so that our users across the globe can pay factories and Silq.Mobile app to “uber”ize factory inspections. Anyone with a phone should be able to perform an AQL inspection.

About the role:We are seeking a versatile Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This unique role requires the candidate to dedicate 50% of their bandwidth to managing and enhancing our infrastructure and the remaining 50% to building and optimizing our backend systems. Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure (50%):Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services (AWS and Azure).Automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
• Backend Development (50%):Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.Implement APIs and integrate with front-end components.Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
  
  

You should apply if you:Minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and backend development.Proficiency in managing infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.Strong experience with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
