About the role

As the founding product lead, you’ll be responsible for partnering with our head of engineering, CEO, and the broader team to build our initial products as we rapidly build for scale. As we grow you’ll be responsible for scaling the function to help us build best in class product. As our founding product lead, your job will not fit tightly in a JD. But some early responsibilities will include:
Go deep on our end user, teens, to make our group therapy experience engaging and compelling. You’ll interview teens, parents and other key constituents to understand what they want out of a group experience, and develop a perspective of your own on how to make groups great. You’ll partner directly with Marble’s CEO to surge on this critical task.
Build a best-in-class counselor product. School counselors are the life blood of our organization. We need to understand them deeply to be exceptional partners. You’ll collaboratively determine what we should build and when to deepen our fit with school counselors.
Make it magically easy for therapists to run groups. Groups can be administratively challenging. Part of your job will be building a simple yet powerful EHR for therapists that makes it easy for them to run groups and get paid through Marble.
Build our initial parent-facing product. We don’t yet know what we need to build to help parents feel confident in Marble. You’ll help us figure that out and then build it.
Build our V1 clinical operations layer. To operate efficiently, we need to solve problems with technology that most healthcare companies solve with humans. Build the tech that verifies benefits instantaneously, that creates price transparency for parents and students, that allows therapists to seamlessly take notes.

You don’t like working at big companies where you’re responsible for optimizing a very narrow surface area of responsibility and you have teams of people supporting you
Acts like a Marble owner. As a part of the founding team, we expect you to help shape the direction of the company. That means raising your hand when something seems off or broken and proposing a way to do it better.

Ideal qualifications

5+ years of experience working at an early stage and high-growth startup
Experience with customer research and interviews
Experience building products from scratch
