Role Overview

We’re seeking a Manager of Sales & Sales Development to lead our high-velocity sales motion (brands <$75M revenue) and oversee our Sales Development team. This is a critical leadership role focused on building a scalable outbound engine, coaching high-performing sellers, and driving pipeline and revenue growth. You’ll lead a team of AEs and SDRs, establish processes, and develop a repeatable playbook that fuels Brij’s next stage of growth.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and scale a blended team of SMB Account Executives and SDRs
  • Build a high-velocity outbound culture rooted in accountability, activity excellence, and consistency
  • Hire, onboard, and develop top-performing sales talent with strong progression paths
  • Run weekly coaching rhythms, call reviews, and performance tracking

Pipeline Generation & Outbound Strategy

  • Own SMB pipeline creation, outbound strategy, and prospecting programs
  • Develop outbound sequences, call frameworks, and activity standards
  • Monitor funnel conversion data to continuously optimize outreach
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing & Partnerships
  • Attending in person events to drive pipeline

Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

  • Drive attainment against team quota through daily sales leadership and coaching
  • Review deals, forecasts, and pipeline health with rigor and accuracy
  • Build repeatable sales processes across outbound, qualification, demos, and handoffs
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops to improve reporting, dashboards, and territory planning

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Standardize playbooks, scripts, metrics, and outbound workflows
  • Build feedback loops with Product and Marketing to refine messaging and product-market fit
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure frictionless SDR → AE → onboarding handoffs
  • Implement data-driven cadences for inspection, prioritization, and performance tracking in collaboration with Rev Ops

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience as an AE in a high-velocity B2B SaaS environment
  • 2+ years of experience as an AE manager
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas in SMB or velocity sales environments
  • A strong outbound leader with mastery over cold calling, sequencing, and pipeline creation
  • Experienced managing and motivating high-volume sellers (SDRs and AEs)
  • Experienced building and running enablement programs
  • Highly data-driven with the ability to translate insights into tactics and strategy
  • A builder who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments
  • Excellent communicator with strong coaching capabilities
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement platforms (HubSpot, Sales Navigator, etc.)
